RONALDO: I STAY
Cristiano Ronaldo had been all over the turf on the pitch, and felt every possible emotion in that 120 minutes - touching rock bottom when he missed his penalty - but we know exactly where he'll be next season - at Old Trafford.

After the game, Ronaldo was struggling to find words to fit the emotions. "I don't know what to say. In my opinion I played well in the game, scored a goal, and then missed the penalty. It would have been the worst day of my life," said Ronaldo.

"Penalties are a lottery. We deserved to win as we played better in the whole game. It means everything to me, we have won both trophies, it is the best day in my life. I am going to stay [at the club]."

"I have played with these lads for five years and to win the Premier League and the Champions League is a great achievement.

"It is big for the club and the players. It is a young team and we have the chance to win the Premier League and Champions League again next year."
